PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE
This website is intended to describe the school and its programs.  Southern Bible Institute, College, and Seminary retains the right to change programs, policies, courses, schedules, requirements, tuition, fees, and all other aspects at any time.

FUND RAISING
We seek to conduct our activities with the highest standards of integrity and to avoid conflicts of interests.  Because we believe that it is God's place to prompt a response to our fund-raising appeals, we shun high-pressure or manipulative fund-raising practices.  Our fund-raising appeals clearly identify the purposes and programs to which donations will be applied, and we ensure that all gifts are used for the purposes for which they were raised.  Occasionally we receive more contributions for a given project that can be wisely applied to that project.  When this happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need.  Our policy is to meet the needs God lays before us, so that Christ is lifted up, religious education accessible for everyone and the Gospel is advanced.

STATUS REPORTS
Records of progress known as status reports are maintained by each instructor in the students academic file.  These status reports are used by instructors and faculty members to communicate with each student (via mail and/or email) as to their grades, progress, and further instructions.  Upon completion of each course, students receive an official transcript by mail.

MINISTRY AND LIFE EXPERIENCE CREDIT
Southern Bible College & Seminary may grant ministry and life experience credits to students, but only within the guidelines of established policy.  Life experience credit is granted upon evaluation by the office of academic affairs.

WITHDRAWAL AND INACTIVE STUDENTS

CLINICAL SCHEDULE
Clinical experiences for the student are designed on an individual basis.  In most instances, clinical objectives may be achieved in the student's own work or ministry setting.  Each faculty member will assist the student in planning experiences in their own setting that meet clinical course objectives.  Time will vary for each clinical course based on the level of the student's program.

 Academic Status:
The programs of study offered through Southern Bible College & Seminary carry similar requirements as other traditional programs. Distant educational students are required to meet standards equal to or even greater than those of traditional on-campus university students. This assures that the high standards of our educational programs are maintained. Credits and degrees earned at Southern Bible College & Seminary are not guaranteed to transfer to other schools, colleges or institutions.

We regularly monitor the external program study materials as well as your individual progress in your program of study. All programs are specifically designed for the busy person who needs a flexible and convenient schedule to meet the rigorous degree requirements.
